PAR Equity is a Scottish investment firm specialising in investing in and supporting innovative, high-growth businesses. In 2026, PAR Equity merged with Praetura Ventures and Praetura Investments to form PXN Group, bringing together their investment teams, networks and investment capabilities. PAR’s core investment team remains part of the combined business.
PAR has developed a hands-on approach to investing, combining investment expertise with operational experience and an extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders. Its investment activity has focused particularly on innovative businesses with high growth potential, including companies operating in technology, healthcare and other specialist sectors.
The firm has managed investment funds and supported business angel investment through its syndicate model, alongside its EIS investment activities. Its more recent investment activity has included backing UK technology businesses and supporting companies through further stages of growth.
