Founded in 2018, Vala Capital is a relatively new manager focused on EIS funding, although it does also have a small lending business. It has invested in growing its staffing, adding finance and operational capabilities alongside its investment team. Vala is an entrepreneur-led investment advisory business that backs start-ups and early-stage companies.
Based in London, it currently it has two EIS Funds, the generalist EIS Portfolios and the, newer, ESG orientated Sustainable Growth EIS.
