We have been working closely with GBI Magazine to create this innovative event, EIS on Trial, and now with less than a month to go we are excited to tell you all about it.
On 19 October 2023, we are putting EIS on Trial to thoroughly debate the rationale for EIS from an investment perspective. There are a range of opinions, and we want you to hear them. Our objective is simple – to help advisers become better informed regarding the suitability of EIS for their clients.
The structure of the event will follow that of a real trial. There will be a judge, counsel for the prosecution, counsel for the defence and a range of expert witnesses, including our very own Brian Moretta.
Other witnesses include an IFA, a paraplanning firm, EIS fund managers, an EIS backed company, a platform, a PI broker, and more.
This is an innovative way to seriously look at the barriers that prevent more EIS being sold, and consider how the barriers can be removed. The aim is to create a balanced argument, so that the jury can vote at the end. And when you register to attend this event, you will become part of that jury – so you can decide for yourself.
