The Mello London experience - high quality corporates, impressive non-institutional investor turnout and solid investment stories with thought-provoking panel discussions. Hardman & Co experience the event first hand...
November’s Mello conference once again delivered an impressive pool of investors to meet with some of the UK’s rising Small Cap names. Regulars at this ever-growing event, the Hardman & Co team were delighted to attend and meet with some familiar client faces from the diverse array of corporate management teams as well as some fresh, but fundamentally robust new market entrants. With an increased investor turnout of 7% y-o-y, we were pleased to see corporate clients engaging directly with an investor pool that Hardman & Co assisted in bringing together.
A buzzing atmosphere was not the only thing to rave about – the conference hosted a number of high quality, strong corporate presentations, along with some engaging panel discussions too. Particular investor favourites and familiar faces included the likes of The Simply Biz Group, Surface transforms, Creightons & Kape Technologies. Whilst panellist discussions were centred around the future of active fund managers, accounting red flags and growth in UK Small Caps to mention a few.
Tuesday evening’s Mello LairĀ session brought together an exciting array of start-ups, pitching their business to eager investors hungry for a solid growth story. This included presentations from Nix & Kix, UnderTheDoormat, Hayver Corp and Storychest.
It is wonderful to see Mello London has maintained and even elevated the standards of this event, managing to introduce many new small caps to market investors on this wide scale platform. At Hardman & Co, our involvement comes with great interest and eagerness. We look forward to the upcoming events from Mello London in the near future.
